#80 Go on an amazing honeymoon and check some things off my bucket list!

After our wedding Anthony and I flew into L.A. and went aboard the Carnival Splendor. Hooray for cruises! This was probably one of the best ideas for a honeymoon. The best part of the cruise was that I could eat whatever I wanted to and everything was free! Well, everything was included in the price of your cabin.

The service we got on the Carnival Splendor was really awesome too! We had great waiters at our diner table and even our housekeeping was amazing. Our housing guy guy, Gadat was awesome, he knew our names and every time we walked out of our cabin he was always like..."Hello Mr. and Mrs. Laccetti! Have a good cruise day!" or something along those lines. And the best part of housekeeping?

I love those little guys. The housekeeping team would sneak them into our cabin during our dinner hours. They actually cleaned our room twice a day. They were pretty amazing. We were scheduled originally for three different ports, Cabo, Porta Vallarta, and Mazatlan. Unfortunately, all stops to Mazatlan have been banned from the Carnival family because of violence in port. They told us months before that port was cancelled so it wasn't a shocker when we got on the boat. Then, a hurricane was supposed to hit Porta Vallarta and Carnival cancelled that port too. So we ended up staying in Cabo for two says and going to La Paz.

The cruise was a lot of fun, we got to do and see a lot of things and I think I may have checked some more things off my bucket list!

#78 Get Married

So there are a few things on my bucket list that are supposed to come natural and I may or may not be able to do them. If you follow my blog, or know me in real life you know that I have been planning my wedding for over a year. And I am sure the limo post below pretty much gave away this post! Obviously I didn't go out looking to get married to cross it off my bucket list . It just happened on it's own. So here is my story with some of the wedding photo's.

There once was a wonderful princess named Brittany. She always surrounded herself with good friends and family.

One day the princess's best friend, met this guy ^ and they fell in love. Well that guy happened to be best friends and share a castle with this guy...

Princess Brittany's friend, urged Brittany to come over to her new castle and hang out with the Prince and watch some movies. Soon The Prince and Princess realized that their goofiness fit pretty well together...

Finally, after many years and days later the Prince decided to put a ring on it. Because he liked it.

Princess Brittany of course said yes for many reasons. One important reason was that Anthony treated his mom like the Queen she is and loves her very much.

After getting permission from the King, the Prince and Princess decided to have a wedding!

On October 7th, 2011 the Prince and Princess exchanged their vows of marriage. They promised to be faithful and honorable to each other for the rest of their lives, no matter how mad they got at the other, in sickness and in health until God separated them from this life.

To make it official of course they had the story book ending...

It's too early to predict the rest of this story, but I am sure like other fairy tales it ends happily ever after.

#192 Ride in a Limo

There really isn't much I can say for this entry. It's pretty self explanatory. I got married and I wanted a limo, so there I got it!

#200 Adopt a puppy

When we got back from vacation we adopted this little fellow. We got him from the Hawaii Humane Society (http://www.hawaiianhumane.org/).

We actually went there looking for a cat we had dropped off before we left for vacation. I get attached to animals and I was feeding a stray kitten for a few months and unfortunately we couldn't keep the kitten but we didn't want him to starve while we were gone. As hard as it was we brought the little guy to the humane society. The good thing about this shelter is that it's a no-kill shelter (unless the animal is dangerous or is really sick). My husband promised we could adopt the kitten if he was still there when we got back from vacation.

Well long story short the kitten was already adopted (I am happy for the little guy). We made the mistake of looking through the dog crates and we saw this little guy. He was the only dog that didn't bark when other dogs walked by. We took him  out of the cage and we HAD to adopt him.

He is a total sweetheart. We took him home last week and we named him "Revis". He is about one year old. He was a stray so the humane society didn't know exactly how old his is. He has been really good. He does like to chew on things he isn't supposed to. Just as I was typing that he came running in the room with one of my socks. In all fairness it's our fault for leaving things around where he can reach them. He likes shoes too. Which is not good for my shoe collection.

So far so good! And I have to add a disclaimer... If you are going to add a new pet to your family please look at your local shelter first, you never know you could find a gem like Revis.

#76 Fly first class

As some of you might have noticed (but probably not!) I have been a little inactive on both my blogs. Well thats because I have been on vacation! A vacation away from the Island of Oahu. I know it sounds weird right!?

Well anyways, I did check off a lot of things on my bucket list including flying first class! $200 for an upgrade to first class for a 6 hour flight from Oahu to Washington, I will take it please!

In the picture above, is me in all my happiness holding up my free Mai Tai enjoying the extra leg room and cushy seats. I was a little disappointed in myself when I fell asleep after my second drink, but we ended up flying first class from NY to L.A. and L.A. to Oahu on our trip back so it was still worth it. I would say flying first class is a lot better then flying economy only because you have room to move. Why do they make planes so small now? I get it, they want to fit more people on the plane to make more money, but seriously the comfort difference is astonishing!

Of course I would recommend this to anyone, and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone flying across the ocean.
